EXACTLY ONE SECOND
Privacy Policy
Exactly One Second collects nothing and sends nothing. The app contains no networking code at all — there is no account system, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs in it.
What the app stores. Your attempt times — one best time per calendar day — and how many tries you have used in the current hour. They are kept in a shared container on your iPhone so that the app and its Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets read the same numbers. Nothing else is stored, nothing leaves the device, and deleting the app deletes all of it.
Who is responsible. The data controller is Joshua Wilfred Sekar, Einzelunternehmen, Düsseldorf, Germany, reachable at joshfred@icloud.com.
Lawful basis. None is needed for the app itself: no personal data is processed by me or by anyone acting for me. The times on your phone are yours alone and I have no way to see them.
Your rights. Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, erasure of, restriction of and portability of your personal data, and you may complain to a supervisory authority — in my case the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen. Because I hold no personal data from this app, there is nothing for me to hand over or delete. To erase what the app stored, delete the app.
If you email me. I keep your message and address only as long as it takes to answer you, on the legitimate-interest basis of replying to someone who wrote to me.
Apple. Downloading the app is a transaction between you and Apple. Apple gives me anonymous, aggregated statistics — download counts, crash reports and the like — under Apple's own privacy policy. I never receive anything that identifies you, and the app itself sends Apple nothing.
Children. The app collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Changes. If this policy ever changes, the date below changes with it.
